The archive’s index contains an entry for every paragraph or more that concerns one artist or pop-culture subject, and is headed accordingly. That includes all interviews, reviews, “scene” reports, background articles, and opinion pieces, among others. Shorter articles that span two pages are listed once. Longer articles have one entry for every page of content. Photo-only pages that accompany articles are not listed. (See sample print-out below.)
The index does not include pictorial spreads, editorials, letters, ads, corrections, or short addenda. Artists, bands, etc. referred to in the text of articles are not referenced.
